Being pregnant is a great feeling for everyone especially the mother, and as the baby grows inside her, the more she realizes that her body continues to change accordingly.

These changes involve many body parts and at times it is hard to accept them for different mums to be and some wont stop at anything before getting a solution. Some of these changes include:

Weight gain

After the first trimester, one thing that most expectant women note is increased weight and this is not welcome in these modern days.

It looks like everyone is concerned about who gained the majority of pounds or who lost the most and those who increase are ridiculed.

It is therefore very important for a woman to understand that weight gain is normal and expected all through , but later it is lost when the baby is born.

I know that some women loose their super model shapes after their first pregnancies but it is still possible to loose it.

It would be unhealthy to refuse to feed properly so as not to get fat, especially to the growing infant.

Even underweight women must gain some weight to the levels considered normal, and gain some more for being pregnant.

Conversely, overweight women could be unhealthy if they gained lots of weight, it would be better if they lost to the normal levels and then gain little for being expectant.

A lot of these pounds go in her breast tissues, Baby, amniotic fluid, placenta, blood volume and the rest is water weight.

To be healthy, the secret is with the daily diets and whether or not a woman is exercising enough.

A practitioner is needed to advice on the best exercises during pregnancy and a nutritionist for the healthy diets.

Finding a way to deal with food cravings of some kind like the sugars, chocolates, and greasy foods is something the pregnant woman herself should do.

Skin

During some women skin becomes more prone to skin blemishes and spots and these have been related to hormonal imbalance.

At personal level, a woman must understand her body is now different and must therefore not be too keen on how ugly the acne appears.

After the baby is born, the hormones slowly go back to their normal functioning and the skin soon regains its beauty and softness.

A woman should always consult her gynecologist before she can try out a new formula to clear the skin problems, for some of these may harm the unborn baby.

Psychological problems

There are times when a woman may get pregnant unwillingly and at the same time, her lover blames her for it.

This may amount to a great deal of psychological problems as she handles the dilemma of carrying the baby or getting rid of it, because it is unwanted.

It is not easy to choose the former but even the latter has its own side effects in the long run.

Aborting a child when there is no danger making it really necessary comes with much worse mental side effects than enduring , labor and the upbringing.

Lacking a baby later because some vital reproductive organs were destroyed during abortion process could bring lots of remorse.

A decision to have it may also plague women mentally especially if they are bad financially and not prepared to raise a child on their own.

Seeking guidance and counseling would help a woman keep her psychological health well.
